The Founders

Clara Kundin | She/Her/Hers

Clara Kundin is an actor, singer, and teaching artist based in NYC. She received her B.A. in theater from St. Olaf College and continued her studies in physical theater at the École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Clara was a founding member and served as the first executive director of Rebel Playhouse. She previously served as the associate education director and company member for The Ume Group and was a company member with the Galli Theater. As an actor, she has performed with Creative Time, Torn Out Theater, the GYM at Judson, the Guthrie Theater, and more. As a teaching artist she has worked with Mainstages, Woodlawn Conservancy, and Sanctuary for Families.

Sarah Sutliff | She/Her/Hers

Sarah Sutliff is an actor, director, and teaching artist. A graduate of Wagner College and the Atlantic Acting School, she additionally studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She was a founding member and served as the first Artistic Director of Rebel Playhouse. Sarah is a seasonal director and teaching artist with Shen Summer Adventures in Clifton Park, NY and she has choreographed well over a dozen productions with Saratoga Children’s Theatre in Saratoga Springs, NY. Sarah most recently originated the role of Lorena in The Big One-Oh! which made its world premiere at the Atlantic Theatre Company. Other past roles include Centipede in James and the Giant Peach (Atlantic Theater Company) and Edwin W. Pauley in Danny Rocco’s Convention (The Irondale Center).

Greer Samuels | He/Him/His

Greer Samuels is an actor, teaching artist, and model. He studied theatre at The City College of New York. Greer was a founding member and served as the first director of Education at Rebel Playhouse. As a teaching artist, he has additionally worked with The Boys and Girls Harbor, Ascension School, BASIS Independent Brooklyn, and Camp Half-Blood. He was a resident educator and actor with Galli Theater New York for nearly a decade and has also performed at The Secret Theatre and Harlem Repertory Theatre. Most recently, he understudied the role of Bear in Rebel Playhouse's premiere production, Old Turtle and the Broken Truth.
